What kind of sensor switch for In-cabinet, In-wardrobe light
1, Switch means to turn on and off.
2, There are many types of switches, the most used is door sensor, hand on/off sensor, PIR and touch dimming sensor switch.
3, The main parameters: voltage, current, power, induction mode.
It is recommended that furniture lighting use low voltage switches below 36V.
This article only talks about several commonly used for furniture lighting.
1, Door Open On/Off switch, Hand On/Off switch

Note: Both door open on/off and hand sweep on/off sensor switch are photoelectric reflection principle.
The door contact and hand sweep switches we use are both photoelectric switches.
1, photoelectric switch principle, it is the use of the object to be detected on the infrared beam of shading or reflection, by the synchronous circuit selection through and detection of whether the door or hand shading.
2, infrared is invisible light, wavelength 780nm to 1mm.
3、The photoelectric switch should be avoided under strong light.
4, door touch hand sweep induction distance control within 50mm best.
Suggestion: the light-sensing distance is not the farther the better, reasonable just okay.
Some cases that required double door sensor switch, no matter which door is open, the light is on, when closed the double door, the light is off.
2, PIR sensor switch

Note:The sensing range of the human body is 1-3 meters, within the cone of about 100 degrees.
Principle of human body induction switch.
The body sensor switch is mainly composed of a human pyroelectric infrared sensor, which releases a certain wavelength of infrared light due to the constant body temperature. When the infrared sensor probe receives the infrared rays released by the human body, it controls the switch to be in the “on” state, completing the human body induction. When humans leave for a period of time, the switch will continue to be in the “on” state, and after the set delay time, the infrared sensor does not sense the presence of humans, the switch state will be switched to “off”.
Notes on the installation of the body sensor switch.
1, The installation location should be far away from heat sources, such as heating, air conditioning, fireplaces, etc.
2, The installation height should not be too high or too low from the ground. (1.5m-2.5m is the best)
3, Do not install at the doorway, air duct where there is strong convection air.
4, The induction range should not have barriers and other isolated objects.
Recommendation: A highly sensitive induction switch should be selected.
3, Touch dimming sensor switch

Touch-sensitive switch principle.
Touch dimmer sensor switches use capacitive induction technology. We know that the human body is electrically conductive, and the circuit underneath the capacitive induction key can generate an evenly distributed electrostatic field. When our finger moves to the top of the key, the capacitance on the surface of the key changes, and the CPU makes a judgment and then performs the light switch operation.
Notes on the application of touch-sensitive switches.
- Touch-sensitive switches should not be installed on conductive materials.
- Do not use the touch-sensitive switch in a humid environment.
- Do not use the touch sensor switch in an environment with strong electric field interference.
Suggestions: Touch switches require a low harmonic power supply and it is recommended to use a special power supply.
